Haul: ASOS / AX Paris / Newlook / Fiorelli

Hello! Today I'm back with a haul full of stuff that I'm very proud of purchasing. I have five items to show you despite the image looking like there are only 3.. you just can't really see my necklaces in the bottom right.. Anyway let's get on with it shall we.

  • First up is a necklace I bought from ASOS. It is a rose gold hammer bar and I love how simple it is. I bought this to go with my rose gold Guess bracelet - which will be featured in an upcoming July favourites video so keep your eyes out for that in the next couple of days. This was a tidy £6 so you can't really go wrong. If you want it go and click here.

  • Keeping with the jewellery theme I went and bought myself another simple little necklace, again it's from ASOS and it's gold. It is by an accessory brand called Pieces and it is called The Laura Necklace. It was £8 however it is out of stock now. But don't worry I'm still here to help, here's the link to the rest of Pieces' pieces if you'd like to have a look at their other stuff. Just click here. I highly recommend them they have some really beautiful.....pieces?

  • Next up is a top/blouse from AX Paris. Previous to this I had never owned one of those wrap blouses that now seem to be everywhere so I thought I'd give one a try and I really like how it looks. It's rather flattering and looks very smart. I'm definitely on the look out to get a few more of these. The only problem with this one is that there is a clasp that keeps the blouse together and sometimes it pops open leaving me.. *ahem* slightly exposed. You'd think they could just sew that bit.... I might have to do it myself. Here is the link to this top. It was £30 and now is reduced to £17.99 so snap it up now!

  • Now here's one for the shoe addicts out there. I've been hunting for a pair similar to these for weeks but I just couldn't find any. I found hundreds of 'barely there' sandals with skinny heels but i wanted a pair with a block heel. I wanted to cry with joy when I found these from Newlook. Click here to find them. They were just £22.99 and they are actually really comfortable! I wasn't sure about the strap being velcro at first I thought it looked a bit cheap but when they're on you can't even tell they're velcro and in fact it just makes them so quick and easy to put on.

  • Finally I saved the best until last. Drumroll please.. My Fiorelli bag! I literally cannot stop looking at it. It is called the Fiorelli Codie Winged Style Tote Bag and it could not be more perfect for me. The handles have a gorgeous snake print which contrasts with the sleek plain black. I love that it has a long strap as well as short handles as it makes it so versatile. Also the silver hardware is fabulous. This bag was originally £65 but I got it for just £32.50!! Yes that's right! It's still on sale now so click here to buy it. Go go go!!

There you go guys that was my haul. I hope you liked it, please drop me a comment down below and tell me what your favourite item was :-)
Thanks so much for reading, you're the best!

Ipanema Wish List

Are you going on holiday this summer? Before you go don't forget to pack a great pair of flip flops for those pool or beach days. In fact.. why not pack a few pairs? They are essentials after all. However if you're like me and you just find any old pair of naff flip flops for £3 and end up breaking them whilst out and about on holiday then you should probably take a look at my recent find. is one of Brazil's hottest flip flop brands boasting a massive range of colours and patterns of fantastic quality footwear. Here is my Wishlist!

  • Ipanema Unique III

These flip flops are so fun and come in different cities. This style in particular is Paris but they also come in Venice, London, Kyoto, New York and New York Glow. My favourite thing about these is that the style is different on each foot! These are £16 and you can click here to buy them.
I'll be buying some of these for my trip to Paris in September!

  • Ipanema Switch Straps

If you only take one pair of flip flops away on holiday with you make sure it's this pair because it comes with 3 different colours straps so you can match whatever outfit you decide to wear. I think this is a great idea especially for keeping your luggage weight down. These are £25 and you can Click here to buy them or find out more.

  • Ipanema Pretty Bow

If you're into your Cath Kidston-style floral patterns this style of flip flop is definitely for you. I love this pattern and the cute bow really sets it aside from others. Again these come in lots of different colours to suit you and your wardrobe. They are £20 and you can Click here to find them.

  • Ipanema Festival Sandal

Slightly different to the others this piece is actually a sandal rather than a flip flop and has to be my favourite! This is the Rose Gold design but also comes in Black and Gold, White and Silver and Navy. These are £20 and you can Click here to get your hands on them.

I really wish I had bought some of these before my trip to Sorrento as these are great designs and quality. Ipanema are offering free UK delivery if you order 3 or more pairs and they also offer a range of footwear for men and children. All of their products are made from 100% recyclable PVC and if you want to read more about their ethics please Click Here.

Visit to find your perfect pair or create your own wish list.

I hope you enjoyed this post please let me know what you think about Ipanema's products I'd love to know! Thanks for reading,

My Trip to Sorrento

Where do I start? This was probably one of the best weeks of my life. The most beautiful place with wonderful company. On the 29th June my boyfriend and I jetted off to Naples, Italy. We flew with Thomson which was a pleasant experience and they made everything so easy for us; however the coach transfer from Naples airport to our hotel was quite long, the views we got to see made it so worth it.

The hotel we stayed at was Hotel Conca Park. I won't go into a whole review of the hotel here as I have written a full in depth review on Trip Advisor. Click here to read the review.

The one thing I must point out is that our hotel was in a fantastic location. Not only does it have great views of beautiful Mt Vesuvius but it is also a 5 minute walk into town. The main strip 'Corso Italia' is absolutely amazing. Beautiful shops and restaurants on every corner. And just as we thought it couldn't get any better.. we visited the strip at night time and it came alive! There were artists and performers all the way down.

One thing you must do whilst visiting Sorrento is try the gelato! We had one every night after dinner and there are flavours you could only dream of. My favourite was After Eight and Raspberry.

My favourite thing about Sorrento is that everywhere you look you could take a beautiful, interesting photo. I was spoilt for choice for Instagram! We saw some amazing things and even found the abandoned mill we had spotted on an article about the top most beautiful abandoned places in the world.

Another thing you have to do whilst visiting Sorrento or Naples is go to Pompeii! However I won't talk about Pompeii now as I'm saving it for its own post as I have so much to say about it. It is probably the best thing I've ever done.

You've heard it all before.. and you're about to hear it again. The food here is incredible. My favourite restaurant we went to was Bufalito. I had heard about this place from watching the Sacconejolys when they went to Sorrento they loved the place. Click here for my Trip Advisor review on Bufalito. I also have reviews on some of the other places we visited that week.

One of the evenings we took a stroll down a street we hadn't been down before, and I'm so glad we did as we found the most amazing view I've ever seen. A large balcony overlooking the beach, the ocean, Vesuvius and the most beautiful sunset ever. I'll never forget that.

Overall the week went so smoothly and I couldn't have asked for a better Italian trip. We brought home so many mementos of the week and we will never forget it.

Here are some more photos.

If you have any questions leave them below I'll happily answer. Have you been to Sorrento before? I'd love to hear about your stay!
Thanks so much for reading.

Products I Use For A Night Out

It's Friday, the weekend starts here! Unless you're unlucky like me and have to work weekends.. But occasionally I get a Saturday off and I definitely make the most of it. If I'm going on a night out I really like to spend the entire day getting ready - this probably sounds really weird but I'll talk you through my products I use.

  • Firstly I take a shower or relaxing bubble bath in the morning and use my Nivea Gentle Exfoliating Scrub for normal and combination skin in preparation for my tanning. I do like this scrub because it's a good price and does the job but I do prefer the one from Soap & Glory. Also whilst in there I wash my hair using the Tigi Pro Volumising Shampoo and Conditioner for Fine Hair.

  • After my bath I brush my teeth with the best toothpaste I have ever used. Colgate Max White One. You've probably heard of people raving about this but it's seriously worth the hype. You are supposed to see a difference after 5 days of brushing but I noticed a difference after 1 day. I  highly recommend it!

  • Still focusing on my teeth I take one of my Cocowhite sachets that I have been trying and swill this for 5-15 minutes while either painting my nails or doing whatever. So far I am not impressed with Cocowhite; I haven't been seeing massive results from it and it's pretty gross too. I will do a review on it once I have finished the course.

  • Moving on to skin I wash my face and use these Bioré Deep Cleansing Charcoal Pore Strips on my nose to unblock any pores and remove any blackheads.

  • Next I cleanse with the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. This stuff is fantastic and has been compared to Bioderma. I highly recommend this.

  • After cleansing I tone by using the Nivea Refreshing Toner for normal and combination skin. It's nothing dramatic but feels refreshing on the face and helps remove any small amounts of leftover makeup along with helping even out your skin tone.

  • The most important step is moisturising! I have been using the Nivea Oil Free Moisturising Day Cream for oily and combination skin. This moisturiser does the job but doesn't blow me away and isn't the best I've ever used, however it is good for my combination skin as it isn't oily or drying at all.

  • I then take a small amount of my Estēe Lauder Idealist Even Skin Tone Illuminator over the skin and I really love the silkiness of this it feels amazing! I will definitely be purchasing the full size bottle of this.

  • This is a step I don't always take but for the past few weeks my lips have been insanely dry and chapped, the worst they have ever been. So I have been using the Blistex Intensive Moisturiser and it's really been helping.

  • While I let all of my moisturisers settle in to my skin I put in my contact lenses. I wear the Acuvue Moist Dailies for Astigmatism.

  • Next I move on to hair. While my hair is still quite wet and before I brush it out I use the Renewing Argan Oil of Morocco Penetrating Oil which makes my hair easier to brush through and smells great. I then brush through with my 'Tangle Teezer.'

  • Then I use my favourite root booster the Tigi Catwalk Volume Collection Your Highness Root Boost Spray. This stuff is one of my all time favourite hair products, it is fantastic and really lifts your hair and gives you loads of volume.

  • I then leave my hair to dry naturally which usually takes a couple of hours. I like to take this time to put on my fake tan. I make sure this is still quite early on in the day because it takes a few hours to develop. I think most people put on their fake tan the night before and then shower in the morning but I just never get the right shade for my skin if I do this. So I use my favourite ever fake tan the St Tropez Bronzing Mousse. I love the colour it gives and the smell of it. I apply this with a tanning glove to make sure I don't get those awful 'tan hands'.

  • I then use the rest of the day to relax, do my nails, have a glass of wine (or two) and figure out what kind of make up look I want and decide what clothes to wear.
  • When it comes to a couple of hours before I have to leave I start on my makeup. I always prime my face so my makeup doesn't slide off during the night (although it usually does anyway). I use the Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer. It is okay but once I'm out of it I'm going to purchase a Smashbox Primer to try that.

  • After my face is primed I go in with my all time favourite foundation. Estēe Lauder Double Wear Foundation. I use a shade a couple shades darker than my normal foundation as I have on fake tan. This stuff is incredible and I recommend it for everyone.

  • Now I won't go into my whole makeup routine - I'll save that for another post but most of the time I find myself reaching for my Urban Decay Naked 1 Palette. As you might be able to tell from the state of it I have had it for ages and get so much use out of it!

  • Now another product that I find is essential for a night out makeup look is Mac Mineralised Skin Finish in Soft & Gentle. This stuff is absolutely amazing and has changed the way I do my makeup forever. I absolutely love it. Well worth the hype.

  • After my makeup is all done and my hair is dry. I style my hair (usually using a curling wand) and get dressed. To finish off this is a must. I wear my Chanel Chance Eau Fraîche. I wear this every time I go on a night out as it is perfect!

And that's about it! I hope you enjoyed reading about my products I use for a night out. There's probably a lot more I use especially makeup-wise but this post would be even longer so I'll leave the rest for another time. I'd love to know what your essentials are for a night out so please leave me a comment.

Thanks for reading,
