LIFE UPDATE: New Job & Paris

*Photo NOT mine. Taken by Julia Davila-Lampe

Hello guys! Today I thought I'd write just a quick post to let you know what's going on in my life at the moment. The biggest thing that has happened to me is that...... I have a new job! Now you may or may not know that I have been working at a cinema for over 3 years now since I was 17 and I felt that it was definitely time to spread my wings a bit and look for something more stable with regular hours and, well, not on minimum wage! Where am I working now? Unfortunately it's nothing exciting it's just a call centre. (Most people work at a call centre at least once in their life right??) So it's not any more glamorous than my previous job but it's just until the mean time until I get my dream job. If you're wondering what my dream job is then you're looking at it! I love blogging so much and it's the one thing that I look forward to doing all the time and I literally could not think of a better job than doing this full time. I do understand it's such a hard thing to be successful at but I'm a strong believer in that if you want something SO bad you should never stop until you get it; and I will not stop. If any of you feel the same about something, whether it be the same situation or you want to move to another country or you want to learn a new language.. whatever your dream is, never stop until you get it because it will feel amazing knowing you've worked so hard for it :-) I digress.... As I said this new job is just for the mean time as I felt like I had to take a leap of faith and grab this opportunity to gain some more experience. Wish me luck and hope that I don't hate it!

In other news, my boyfriend and I have now booked our next adventure... a trip to PARIS! I have only ever been to Paris once when I was very young so I only remember bits of the trip so I've been saving up ever since we came back from Sorrento so we could go. We leave for our adventure on the evening of Friday 4th September, arrive in Paris in the morning of the following day and leave Paris in the evening of Monday 7th September. I'm so excited!! I have already started writing our itinerary of where we're going to visit haha. Be sure to write a comment below of any places we must visit that we may not have thought of! I'm very excited to write a Paris blog post too.

Thanks so much for reading guys, I appreciate every single one of you and I hope you enjoyed this little life update. I might make this a more frequent feature on my blog so be sure to let me know if you like it and I'll try and do one every month or so.

  4. How exciting, new starts are always interesting. Just take it all in and enjoy the ride - wishing you all the luck with the new job! And I'll be going to Paris later in September as well! It'll be my first time so I'm hitting up a lot of the main attractions, but I'm also hoping to soak in all of the culture and experience Paris like the locals do. I can't wait to see where you go!
